The KataKanu is not a sailing dinghy, but it is a stable platform and can be made into a sailing canoe. Do not confuse this with a racing catamaran! 6 people in a sturdy polypropylene KataKanu are not going to be flying a hull!

Team work is again key, steering from the stern, sheet control from the middle and paddle power from the bow.
